We are looking for an experienced professional to join us as the Enterprise Risk Manager, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk at Thames Water. This pivotal role involves establishing and implementing a robust enterprise risk management framework across all business units.

About the Role:
  • Establish effective communication channels with internal stakeholders and risk owners.
  • Identify and assess operational risks in collaboration with the business.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise risk management reporting requirements.
  • Foster a culture of risk management within the organization.
  • Integrate risk management into decision-making processes and business objectives.
  • Manage risk registers and prioritize key risks in alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
Essential
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing risk management strategies.
  • In-depth understanding of current risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively.
  • Experience working with senior teams, providing expertise and analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resilient with a focus on long-term objectives.
  • Comfortable challenging business leaders.
Desirable
  • Experience in utility industry, regulated environment, or FTSE250.
  • Relevant qualification in Risk Management or equivalent.
