Learning and Development Manager focused on driving IA Capability

* Base salary - £90-£95K plus up to 35% bonus

Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a global business in their search for a strategic Learning and Development Manager to drive the AI capability of this technology based business. This role will be both strategic and operational, and there will be an expectation to be present in the office at least 3 days a week.

Scope of the role

Our client is looking for an experienced L&D Manager to drive the AI capability within the business. You will report into the Director of People Services and L&D and deliver a comprehensive transformation of organisational capabilities focusing on AI and emerging technologies.

You will be develop and execute a comprehensive plan for capability transformation, as well as adapting the AI Learning Academy, providing structured, high quality learning experiences that enhance AI skills ad knowledge across the business.

You will lead and manage change initiatives related to the capability transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and effective adoption of new technologies and processes.

Candidate Profile

You will be an expert in your field bringing a well-developed L&D toolbox with proven experience designing and delivering training programmes, as well as managing and leading change initiatives. You will have proficiency in PMO practices.

You will have a consulting background with the ability to make quick diagnoses, define action plans, and create compelling PowerPoint presentations. You will have a strong presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders, influencing and guiding them; you will have gravitas.

You will understand the digital environment, the role of technology, and the impact it has on people and the people function. You will have experience working in this environment previously and in implementing change.

You must have international experience and have worked in a complex matrix business previously.
