We are recruiting for a Rights Executive to join the team negotiating co-edition sales for one of our biggest brands, Bluey. This opportunity is offered on an initial 18-month fixed term contract.

About the role

Bluey is one of the most exciting and fastest growing brands in the world. This role is an excellent opportunity to be part of that growth and work closely with fascinating Children's brand.

In this position, you will negotiate co-edition sales, both for first printings and reprints in all rights territories across the world (excluding US and China) with our established Bluey publishing partners.

You will work closely with our Bluey publishing partners as well as the rest of the Rights team to maximise revenue and join up printing opportunities.

What you'll bring

This is the perfect next step for a Rights Assistant, or a Rights Executive looking for a new challenge, to develop their rights career within a supportive team. To succeed in the role, you will:

  • Have knowledge of and experience working on co-editions, and/or illustrated books,
  • Have strong collaborative and communication skills to build connections and develop relationships,
  • Have excellent organisation and administrative skills,
  • Be able to manage several different priorities to deadline and be flexible in your approach,
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment.

Salary: Up to £30,000, depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.

Hybrid working: We're experimenting with a hybrid way of working that suits the needs of each team. While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role the department aims to be in the office on around three times a week, working at home the other days of the week.
