A critical role, both in the Transformation of the Space Function and the supporting the Space Leadership Team to lead the change, internally and externally.

Owns the Space (functional) Transformation Strategy and Programme on behalf of the Head of Space (C&H); holding programme leadership, development, and delivery accountabilities.

Works with key members of the Space LT / Management Team in the transformation of processes, accountabilities and activities - with both C&H and Store Development Teams.

Works across the Heads of Space (and the Space Team) to define, develop, and deliver the space strategy aligned to the overall C&H strategy.

Develops and owns the programme plan and associated briefs, ensuring key stakeholders are engaged. Builds presentations, business cases and documents as required.

Owns the rhythm and routine of the Space Team on behalf of the Head of Space (C&H) incl. Stand-ups, Kanban, Team Days, Leadership / Management Team Days etc.

Works with the Head of Space (C&H) on transformation and key development items, to ideate, develop and lead as required.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Leads or supports the creation of OBW in all processes - creating best practice with other Heads of.
  • Develop and ensure delivery of project briefs linked to the space transformation project plan
  • Places customer at the heart of decision making
  • Continually refines the processes, challenging ways of working that are not adding value to ensure we work optimally
  • Encourages and develops self and others, in own team to deliver the business plan, programme results and support individual ambitions.

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Strategic approach and able to distil sophisticated issues into simple, solutions and executable plans
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills
  • Good knowledge in the use of tools & techniques for Programme Management, Backlog prioritisation, and managing dependencies
  • Knowledge of Kanban management tools
  • All relevant Clothing & Home, Space & Retail reporting, and merch systems, specifically: JDA floor planning, RP, MP, GMOR, PowerBI
