Position Overview: We are looking for a meticulous and technically adept professional to become a vital member of our Space Management Team. This role involves collaborating with a skilled team dedicated to overseeing a comprehensive database of facilities across our extensive estate.

Key Responsibilities: The primary duty of this position is to maintain the master database of all architectural drawings, models, and associated data. You will report to the Building Information Manager and support processes and compliance related to Building Information Modeling (BIM), ensuring proper control and distribution of documentation and data in alignment with the broader organizational requirements.

Design and Compliance: As a Building Information Coordinator, you will create detailed, space-efficient design layouts in both 3D and 2D formats, considering elements such as demolitions, partitions, furniture, equipment, and services while adhering to building regulations and fire safety standards. You will conduct site measurements and digital surveys to incorporate minor modifications and rectify historical inaccuracies.

Information Management: Your role will involve reviewing compliance with as-built information from various projects and utilizing this information to enhance the handover process at Imperial. You will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and software as part of our ongoing digital transformation within the Property Division, with a focus on BIM and digital twin development.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of Autodesk software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Experience with Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems, as well as internal space planning, is essential. A solid understanding of the building industry, particularly in BIM, is advantageous. Previous experience in architectural drawing is required, and familiarity with mechanical and electrical services drawings is a plus. Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and data management, is necessary.
