Position Overview: We are looking for a meticulous and technically adept professional to become a vital member of our Space Management Team. This role involves contributing to a skilled team that oversees a detailed database of facilities across our extensive property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities: Your primary duty will be to manage the master space database, which includes all relevant drawings, models, and associated data. You will report directly to the Building Information Manager, assisting with processes and compliance related to Building Information Modeling (BIM). This includes controlling and distributing documentation and data in alignment with the broader organizational requirements.

Design and Compliance: As a Building Information Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating effective space design layouts in both 3D and 2D formats. This will involve considerations for demolitions, partitions, furniture, equipment, and services, while adhering to building regulations and fire safety standards. You should be capable of conducting site measurements and digital surveys to address minor modifications and rectify historical inaccuracies.

Information Management: You will review compliance of as-built information from various projects and utilize this information to enhance the handover process at Imperial. Your role will involve exposure to cutting-edge technologies and software as we advance our digital initiatives within the Property Division, with a focus on BIM and digital twin development.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of Autodesk software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Experience with Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems, as well as internal space planning, is essential. A solid understanding of the building industry, particularly in BIM, is advantageous. Previous experience in architectural drawing is required, and familiarity with mechanical and electrical services drawings is preferred. Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and data management systems, is necessary.
