Summary

Own the templating and space optimisation outcomes and processes within a specific BU.
Works to optimise range (width & depth), space (sq and linear), presentation and VM with fixture and layout. Ultimately owning the Micro Space Blueprint for their categories.
Proactively identifies opportunities to drive densities, optimise space & fixture use across the BU and embed into the blueprint. Works across the business to ensure clarity and consistency in WoW and decision making for all things space related.

Please note this role is a 12- month fixed term contract / secondment'

What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Supports the development and delivery of the space strategy for the BU, fully aligned to the overall C&H strategy
  • Drive space productivity through space allocation, setting fixture / equipment type, density & design brief, allocating options to grade and setting layout & flow. Ensuring future space optimisation and equipment principles are reflected in the mock shop process
  • Use the insight and analytics available to drive space optimisation
  • Owns the development and generate templates in JDA system, in alignment with grade assortment, present layout & flow in store ensuring a fit and space optimisation mentality is used in all planning
  • Continually refines the processes, challenging ways of working when not adding value, to ensure we work optimally.

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Visually minded
  • Commercially driven
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and interpretive skills
  • Good understanding of the Space/Merchandising critical path, process flows, competencies and activities
  • All relevant C&H, Space & Retail reporting, and merch systems, specifically: JDA floor planning, PowerBI, Blue Yonder
