Learning and Development Advisor

Croydon office location with Hybrid working

Up to £35,000 per annum plus Civil Service Pension

Our client is recruiting for a Learning & Development Advisor to join their Human Resources (HR) and Organisational Development (OD) team.

This position will work closely with the HR team and in partnership with the business to advise, identify and coordinate appropriate learning and development activity to increase people capability across the organisation. These activities will be part of our organisational plans and business areas priorities and will include development initiatives aligned to their Diversity and Inclusion strategy.

As well as being the first point of contact for all learning and development enquiries this role will be responsible for managing our internal development programmes, coaching, mentoring and our annual events working closely with external partners. This role will involve some facilitation of internal workshops. This role will oversee their apprenticeship programmes that includes interacting with apprentices, line managers and training providers.

Our client's ideal applicant will be CIPD qualified (within a HR or L&D focus) or equivalent, with proven generalist learning and development experience of managing initiatives and events from start to finish. Applicants will be able to demonstrate taking a collaborative approach in planning and implementing training/ coaching programmes, including experience of working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders such as 3rd party suppliers (e.g., training, coaching and apprenticeship providers, etc.).
