Job Description

Main Purpose of the Role

The Training Manager - Learning and Development will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the performance of Spicerhaart colleagues. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our team members have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent customer service and meet the company's vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Program Design and Delivery

Design, develop, and deliver training programs that facilitate and improve colleague performance in sales and customer experience.

Training Materials Development

Develop and maintain training manuals and documentation to ensure they reflect current company policy and legislative requirements.

Training Support

Provide support for other departments in the development and upkeep of Operations Manuals.

Training Evaluation and Improvement

Review training materials to ensure activities provide learning that enables improved performance within Spicerhaart.

Training Systems Management

Manage allocated training projects, designing and delivering appropriate solutions to standard, deadline, and cost.

Apprenticeship Management

Work towards delivering a 100% course completion rate with our apprentices through support, mentorship, and assessment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level education, a CIPD qualification in Learning and Development, or equivalent business experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales, property, or retail sales-related role is required. Experience of different learning platforms and apprenticeship programs is an advantage.

The jobholder must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be self-motivated, confident, and flexible. They must possess an ability to work accurately and be well-organized.
