Role summary:

To provide market leading pre-sale technical support. To listen carefully to the information provided, ask effective questions to gain in-depth application understanding, reference literature and use experience & knowledge to formulate a response and finally effectively communicate the advice/support needed. Focusing on Ecodan Air to Water Heat Pumps and MVHR products.

Acting as the first tier of pre-sale support, excellent customer service in conjunction with top quality engineering and problem-solving skills are essential.

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Provide team and individual performance reports to line manager.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hock reports when required.
  • Maintain and develop technical service with support from line manager.
  • Run weekly technical team meetings.
  • Perform all activities in-line with customer service standards, department standards and company principles.
  • Manage workload distribution and completion in line with the agreed SLA.
  • Ensure the team produces accurate quotations relating to the Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan Air to Water Heat Pumps and Ventilation range.
  • Ensure resource allocation to support customers, sales departments and other internal functions.
  • Answer technical and application enquiries promptly, efficiently and in line with agreed service levels.
  • Ensure the teams provides accurate, concise, well written, technical advice that consistently meet quality standards.
  • Track, benchmark and develop technical ability on new and existing products ensuring the highest level of knowledge is maintained and Pre-sales team is aligned.
  • Stay up to date with product developments, market and industry knowledge.
  • Training support for customers and account managers.
  • Be the first point of contact with other departments for technical support.
  • Achieve key performance indicators.

Experience:

  • 3 years experience within Air to Water Heat Pump industry.
  • Experience on management or team leading.
  • Engineering degree desirable.
  • Excellent understanding of refrigeration circuits, electric circuitry, water-based heating systems and their application.
  • Knowledge of building regulations.
  • Excellent customer service approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
  • Problem solving and decision-making capability.
  • HNC / HND / NVQ qualified (desirable).
  • IT literate with Microsoft office packages.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent business sense and commercial awareness.
