Position Summary:

The role involves delivering exceptional pre-sales technical assistance. This includes actively listening to client requirements, posing insightful questions to gain comprehensive application insights, referencing relevant materials, and utilizing expertise to formulate appropriate responses. The focus will be on Ecodan Air to Water Heat Pumps and MVHR products.

As the primary point of pre-sales support, it is crucial to provide outstanding customer service, combined with superior engineering and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct all tasks in alignment with customer service standards, departmental protocols, and corporate principles.
  • Generate precise quotations for Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan Air to Water Heat Pumps and Ventilation products.
  • Analyze specifications and blueprints to recommend suitable equipment selections.
  • Respond to technical and application inquiries promptly and efficiently, adhering to established service levels.
  • Draft clear and concise technical advice that consistently meets quality benchmarks.
  • Monitor, assess, and enhance technical knowledge on both new and existing products to ensure the highest level of expertise is maintained.
  • Stay informed about product advancements, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Create wiring and piping layout diagrams as necessary.
  • Provide training support for clients and account managers.
  • Assist internal and external stakeholders while promoting a customer-centric approach and delivering a leading service.
  • Meet key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in the Air to Water Heat Pump sector.
  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration circuits, electrical systems, and water-based heating applications.
  • Familiarity with building regulations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • HNC / HND / NVQ qualifications are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Capability to reference and effectively utilize technical documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
