Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Technical Team Lead to provide market-leading pre-sale technical support for our Ecodan Air to Water Heat Pumps and MVHR products. The successful candidate will be responsible for listening carefully to customer information, asking effective questions, and providing expert advice and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide top-quality engineering and problem-solving skills to deliver excellent customer service.
- Act as the first tier of pre-sale support, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.
- Manage workload distribution and completion in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure the team produces accurate quotations and provides technical advice that consistently meets quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with product developments, market, and industry knowledge to maintain the highest level of technical expertise.
- Provide training support for customers and account managers.
- Be the first point of contact with other departments for technical support.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the growth and success of the Mitsubishi Electric team.
- 3 years of experience within the Air to Water Heat Pump industry.
- Experience in management or team leading.
- Engineering degree desirable.
- Excellent understanding of refrigeration circuits, electric circuitry, water-based heating systems, and their application.
- Knowledge of building regulations.
- Excellent customer service approach.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- HNC/HND/NVQ qualified (desirable).
- IT literate with Microsoft Office packages.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent business sense and commercial awareness.
