About the role

The Admissions Communication Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing UCAS's operational email communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams to ensure that communications are timely, relevant, and aligned with the admissions cycle and key UCAS dates. The manager must be professional, clear, and confident in communicating the timing and relevance of information. Additionally, this role includes setting up and promoting webinars on key admissions topics and ensuring all presentation assets are ready for external use.

Key accountabilities:

Operational Communications Strategy:

Develop and manage the operational admissions communications strategy in line with the admissions cycle. Work closely with various internal teams (Operations, Sales, Product, Content) to develop communications in line with the marketing strategy. Lead on key admissions milestones working with marketing colleagues and wider stakeholders. Utilise insight to optimise channel strategies. Collaborate with UCAS teams to create clear, timely, and relevant communications

Email Campaign Management:

Design, execute, and optimise email campaigns to effectively communicate key information to key audience groups. Monitor and analyse the performance of email campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Skills, qualifications, and experience

Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing platforms. Strong organisational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in developing and executing email marketing campaigns including email best practice. Ability to review campaign reports and provide actionable insights to optimise performance. Good attention to detail. Experience in promoting webinars and events.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in the education sector. Experience in coordinating webinars Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
