Overview of the Position
The Manager of Admissions Communication Strategies is tasked with the leadership and oversight of operational email communications within UCAS, utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This position requires collaboration with diverse internal teams to ensure that all communications are timely, pertinent, and in alignment with the admissions timeline and critical UCAS milestones. The individual in this role must exhibit professionalism, clarity, and confidence in conveying the significance and timing of information. Furthermore, this role encompasses the organization and promotion of webinars on essential admissions topics, ensuring that all presentation materials are prepared for external distribution.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operational Communications Framework:
Formulate and manage the operational communications framework for admissions in accordance with the admissions timeline. Collaborate closely with various internal departments (Operations, Sales, Product, Content) to craft communications that align with the marketing strategy. Take the lead on significant admissions milestones in partnership with marketing colleagues and broader stakeholders. Leverage insights to enhance channel strategies. Work with UCAS teams to develop clear, timely, and relevant communications.Email Campaign Execution:
Design, implement, and refine email campaigns to effectively relay key information to target audience segments. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of email campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.For a comprehensive job description, please refer to the attached role profile.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or comparable email marketing platforms. Strong organizational and project management capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in developing and executing email marketing initiatives, including adherence to email best practices. Ability to analyze campaign reports and provide actionable insights for performance optimization. Keen attention to detail. Experience in promoting webinars and events.Desirable Attributes:
Background in the education sector. Experience in coordinating webinars. Familiarity with working in a cross-functional team environment.Compensation and Benefits
