About the Position

The Manager of Admissions Communication plays a pivotal role in directing and supervising the operational email outreach for UCAS through Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This position requires collaboration with diverse internal departments to ensure that communications are timely, pertinent, and in sync with the admissions timeline and critical UCAS milestones. The manager must exhibit professionalism, clarity, and confidence in conveying the significance and timing of information. Furthermore, this role encompasses the organization and promotion of webinars focused on essential admissions topics, ensuring that all presentation materials are prepared for external dissemination.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operational Communications Strategy:

  • Formulate and oversee the operational admissions communications strategy in alignment with the admissions timeline.
  • Collaborate closely with various internal teams (Operations, Sales, Product, Content) to craft communications that reflect the marketing strategy.
  • Take the lead on significant admissions milestones, working alongside marketing colleagues and broader stakeholders.
  • Leverage insights to enhance channel strategies.
  • Partner with UCAS teams to produce clear, timely, and relevant communications.

Email Campaign Management:

  • Design, implement, and refine email campaigns to effectively relay key information to target audience segments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of email campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or comparable email marketing platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing email marketing campaigns, including adherence to email best practices.
  • Ability to analyze campaign reports and provide actionable insights for performance optimization.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in promoting webinars and events.

Desirable Skills:

  • Background in the education sector.
  • Experience in coordinating webinars.
  • Experience working within a cross-functional team environment.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: Up to £40,000
  • 30 days of annual leave (plus 3 concessionary days over Christmas and bank holidays)
