Overview of the Position
The Manager of Admissions Communication plays a pivotal role in directing and supervising the operational email communications for UCAS, utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This position requires collaboration with various internal departments to ensure that all communications are timely, pertinent, and in sync with the admissions timeline and significant UCAS milestones. The individual must exhibit professionalism, clarity, and confidence in conveying the timing and significance of information. Furthermore, this role encompasses the organization and promotion of webinars on essential admissions topics, ensuring that all presentation materials are prepared for external dissemination.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operational Communications Strategy:
Formulate and oversee the operational communications strategy for admissions in alignment with the admissions timeline. Collaborate closely with diverse internal teams (Operations, Sales, Product, Content) to craft communications that align with the marketing strategy. Take the lead on significant admissions milestones in partnership with marketing colleagues and broader stakeholders. Leverage insights to enhance channel strategies. Work in conjunction with UCAS teams to produce clear, timely, and relevant communications.Email Campaign Management:
Design, implement, and refine email campaigns to effectively relay key information to target audience segments. Monitor and evaluate the performance of email campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.For a comprehensive job description, please refer to the attached role profile.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or comparable email marketing platforms. Strong organizational and project management capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in developing and executing email marketing campaigns, including adherence to email best practices. Ability to analyze campaign reports and provide actionable insights for performance optimization. Keen attention to detail. Experience in promoting webinars and events.Desirable Skills:
Background in the education sector. Experience in coordinating webinars. Experience working within a cross-functional team environment.Compensation and Benefits
