Our client is an established business with over 50 years' experience and is looking to expand its Sales Team with an additional Customer Service Administrator.

The Opportunity ( Exists immediately on a Permanent contract basis)

The role is to be part of the fun and vibrant team (based in Huddersfield) and involved in all aspects of Customer Services across a very diverse and t interesting customer base.

The ever-changing demands of the their sector means that they offer a number of delivery and service solutions to suit our customer's needs.
These vary from direct factory supply, UK delivery to Distribution Centres, to Retail Stores and direct to the end consumer.

You will be in regular contact and responsible for many different categories of customer including some well-known High Street Retail outlets, Designers, online specialists as well as the end consumer.

The client is renowned in the Industry for Customer Services excellence and due to recent expediential growth continue to expand the team to maintain our high standards.

The Role
Involved in all aspects of managing the daily requirement of current customers.
Accurate and timely processing of inbound orders to maintain key time-lines.
Responding to all type of customer services enquiries (via phone and email) again within agreed time-lines.

Updating customers with stock inventory and any outstanding back orders.
Actively encouraging customers to visit our showroom and then present new product and review ongoing ranges

Provide product and customer feedback to the wider business to aid continuous improvement.
Accompany and support members of the Account Management Team when visiting Major Customers, from time to time, as required.

Have the opportunity represent the client at a number of Trade Shows throughout the year where you get a real feel for the buzz of the industry.

Requirements

  • Have experience of working in a busy Sales office / Customer Service Department.
  • Display a welcoming and confident attitude and telephone manner.
  • Can engage with and build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Pride themselves on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Want to make positive contributions to the team and ongoing success of the business.
  • Be a good office all rounder and team player to help get the job done
