The Role

Reporting into the Studio Shoot Producer, the main objective of this role is to support and assist the studio team. Your day-to-day role will involve liaising with the studio regarding numbers and managing the Group Studio Assistant. You will be responsible for managing all samples that are sent to and from the studio, assisting with all reshoot requests from the business and ensuring the site adheres to all photography guidelines. You will also attend special shoots to ensure everything gets photographed and coded correctly on set.


What you will be doing?

  • Photography Standards: Maintain high photography standards, constantly checking the site for adherence to guidelines.
  • Sample Management: Oversee samples entering and leaving the studio, logging, processing, and resolving any sample issues.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent communication with the Buying and Merchandising Department (BMD) and act as the main point of contact for the studio and buying teams.
  • Pre-shoots: Manage pre-shoots, aiming for a high standard of over 80% every quarter, and run the pre-shoot percentage report every quarter.
  • Image and Reshoot Management: Ensure all images and reshoots are uploaded timely, send weekly lists to the studio, and manage the reshoot log.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Studio Producer and Studio Manager on key performance indicators (KPIs) and share findings monthly.
  • Daily Operations: Lead daily scheduling meetings, check sets every morning, and ensure all samples are shot on the correct models to prevent costly reshoots.
  • Reporting: Log all samples received, update logs, send out various reports to the wider business, and manage pre-shoot sample trackers.
  • Liaison: Attend weekly studio meetings, liaise with Image Coordinator and Stock Team, and maintain good communication with couriers and the Distribution Centre (DC) team.
  • Scheduling: Plan shoots, request model options, and confirm models and teams needed each week with the studio production team.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Handle any additional projects as required by New Look.
