Are you an experienced Senior Architect looking for a new challenge at a culturally-rooted, design-led studio? A prominent architecture practice based in Central South London, is seeking a skilled Senior Project Architect with strong technical delivery experience to join their vibrant team.
This design studio specializes in architecture and urbanism, with a focus on city-making, place-creation, and urban heritage. Their projects span across large-scale urban developments, emphasizing the integration of place and history as the foundation of their design philosophy. With numerous high-profile projects under their belt, they are at the forefront of contemporary contextualism, blending modern design with historical context to create meaningful and enduring spaces.
As a Senior Architect in their London office, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale residential projects from detailed design to completion. Your role will involve managing multiple projects at various stages, from spatial coordination and technical design to construction. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing and delivering tender and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with Technical Housing Standards NDSS, London Plan, and Building Regulations.
To be successful in this role, you must have six to ten years of post-Part 3 experience in delivering large-scale residential projects in the UK. Proficiency in Revit/BIM is essential, along with a thorough understanding of RIBA Stages 3-6. You should have a strong technical background, with experience working with NHBC and Building Control, clearing planning conditions, and writing NBS specifications. Knowledge of exterior brick cladding systems and the ability to manage workloads and meet tight deadlines are also key requirements.
In addition to your technical skills, you should be confident in managing the day-to-day running of projects, supervising and mentoring a team of 4-6 people, liaising with consultants and local authorities, and communicating design issues effectively. Excellent spoken and written English, as well as site attendance experience, are essential.

As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects, such as the International Quarter London, Brent Cross South, and the regeneration of the former Nestle Factory and Kodak Factory sites.
