Are you a seasoned architect ready to take on a leadership role at a top design studio? An award-winning architectural practice in London is seeking a dynamic Associate Architect to join their senior management team.

As part of the senior management team, you will play a pivotal role in strategic planning and team leadership. With extensive design experience and a portfolio of successful projects, you will balance creativity and technical expertise with strategic vision. Your ability to motivate and inspire those around you is essential.
In this role, you will co-lead the architecture division, ensuring seamless integration with the interior team. You’ll excel particularly in the initial stages (RIBA Stages 1-4) while maintaining involvement throughout all project stages. Strong leadership, design excellence, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are crucial. Projects focus on commercial residential/built-to-rent and commercial offices, so experience pitching to clients and industry professionals is key.
Key responsibilities include leading the architecture team, coordinating with the interior team for cohesive project delivery, managing client relationships, and actively developing new business. You will oversee all project stages, ensuring design integrity and quality control, develop innovative design concepts, and conduct site visits and feasibility studies. Effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders is vital, as is managing project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
We’re looking for someone with a professional degree in architecture (Master’s preferred), at least eight years’ experience in architecture with significant leadership experience, and a proven track record in business development and client relationship management. Extensive experience in RIBA Stages 1-4 and continued involvement in all project stages are essential. Technical proficiency, attention to detail, excellent presentation skills, and proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite are required.

Please note, this role is five days a week office-based in central London. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and live in the UK. The salary aligns with RIBA guidelines and can be discussed during the interview.
