Our client is seeking an experienced IT Architect with a strong background in data management and architecture, particularly within the banking or insurance sectors. This role will focus on designing and overseeing the implementation of robust IT architectures that leverage data to drive strategic business outcomes. You will specialize in IT Service Management (ITSM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management, Risk (IRM), and Financial Services Operations (FSO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IT architectures with a strong emphasis on data management in ITSM, SAM, Hardware Asset Management, IRM, and FSO.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
  • Ensure architectural integrity and alignment with business objectives, particularly in banking or insurance contexts.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, focusing on data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and financial services.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an IT Architect with a strong focus on data architecture in the banking or insurance sectors.
  • Deep expertise in ITSM, SAM, Hardware Asset Management, IRM, and FSO.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, or relevant data management certifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to design scalable and efficient data architectures.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with data management and architecture in financial services, particularly in banking or insurance.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in data-intensive environments.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in financial services.
