About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Fracture Clinic Team as an Extended Scope Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a high-level practitioner with advanced clinical skills within the trauma multidisciplinary team, providing specialist management and advice for patients with fractures and soft tissue pathologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide initial assessment and diagnosis, identifying and interpreting appropriate investigations
  • List patients for surgical and therapeutic procedures and follow up on their care
  • Work autonomously in delivering clinics alongside Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons
  • Manage patients with a wide range of acute musculoskeletal conditions
Requirements

The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing patients with acute musculoskeletal conditions, post-graduate qualifications relevant to the position, and demonstrable high-level clinical reasoning skills. They will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
