About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Neuropsychology Consultant to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our specialist services, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical neuropsychology services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Clinical Expertise: Provide strategic leadership and clinical expertise to our specialist services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality neuropsychological assessments and interventions.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and clinical policies in multi-disciplinary, multi-agency contexts.
  • Teaching and Training: Provide teaching and training to other professionals, including psychologists and health professionals, on neuropsychological assessments and interventions.
  • Research and Evaluation: Contribute to research and evaluation projects, including the development and implementation of research protocols and the analysis of data.
  • Service Improvement: Work collaboratively with other professionals to identify areas for service improvement and develop strategies to address these.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent qualifications as assessed by the HCPC).
  • Registration: Entry on the BPS Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Experience: Experience of specialist neuropsychological assessment and treatment of clients with complex neuropsychological needs across the full range of care settings.
  • Leadership: Experience of leading research projects and/or service evaluations and audit.
  • Teaching and Training: Experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision.
