About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychology Consultant to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our specialist services, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical neuropsychology services to patients across a range of care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic leadership for specialist clinical neuropsychology services across Devon.
    • Lead and manage a team of clinical neuropsychologists and other healthcare professionals.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for clinical neuropsychology services.
  • Clinical Practice
    • Provide specialist clinical neuropsychology assessments and treatments to patients with complex neuropsychological needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Research and Development
    • Contribute to research projects and service evaluations in clinical neuropsychology.
    • Develop and implement new clinical neuropsychology services and programs.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in clinical neuropsychology.
  • Education and Training
    • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on clinical neuropsychology topics.
    • Develop and implement training programs for clinical neuropsychologists and other healthcare professionals.
    • Contribute to the development of clinical neuropsychology curricula and training programs.
Requirements
  • Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent qualifications as assessed by the HCPC).
  • Entry on the BPS Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • BPS RAPPS eligible supervisor and registered QiCN Supervisor.
  • Further training or equivalent experience in working with people with acute and/or chronic long-term health conditions.
  • Further training in at least one psychological therapy.
