About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychology Consultant to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our specialist services, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical neuropsychology services to patients across a range of care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Clinical Expertise: Provide strategic leadership for specialist clinical neuropsychology services, ensuring high-quality care and treatment for patients with complex neurological and mental health needs.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and strategies, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • Teaching and Training: Provide training and supervision to junior staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality clinical neuropsychology services.
  • Research and Evaluation: Conduct research and evaluation projects to inform clinical practice and improve patient outcomes, working closely with academic partners and other stakeholders.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) and entry on the BPS Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Experience: Significant experience in specialist clinical neuropsychology services, including assessment, treatment, and research.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
