Outpatient Services Coordinator
Location: Exeter | Sector: Administration | Employment Type: Permanent | Hours: Part-time
Salary: £23,419.50 per annum (pro rata)
Weekly Commitment: 26 hours
As an Outpatient Services Coordinator at Nuffield Health, you will embody a diligent and supportive demeanor, showcasing a proactive approach to your responsibilities. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will be essential as you engage with patients and colleagues alike. Strong organizational and administrative capabilities will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all administrative tasks and support functions adhere to established standards and timelines.
- Analyze, evaluate, and interpret data and information accurately.
- Efficiently manage all inquiries and concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry using both electronic and manual systems.
- Generate standard and ad-hoc reports as required by the department.
Clinic Support Duties:
- Facilitate professional interactions between patients and consultants.
- Manage appointment scheduling and modifications.
- Coordinate room and consultant availability.
- Foster partnerships with consultants and GPs.
- Adjust clinic schedules as needed to meet operational demands.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Understanding of clinical terminology.
- Proven experience in a similar administrative capacity.
- Proficient IT and keyboard skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
