Job Summary:

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver autonomous clinics, providing initial assessment and diagnosis, and developing treatment plans for patients with a wide range of acute musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Collaborate with Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons to identify and interpret appropriate investigations, and to list patients for surgical and therapeutic procedures.
  • Provide follow-up care to patients, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain high-level clinical reasoning skills, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in managing patients with acute musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Post-graduate qualifications relevant to the position.
  • Demonstrable high-level clinical reasoning skills.
