The NHS is seeking an experienced Practice Development Manager to join our team in Neuro ICU. As a key member of the Nursing Education Team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of education initiatives, including orientation, preceptorship, and practice supervision and assessment programmes for students and new members of staff.

About the Role

  • Lead the identification of training and education needs, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities for students, new starters, and existing members of the non-medical staff.
  • Develop and implement education initiatives, including competency-based programmes for non-medical staff in the department.
  • Collaborate with ACPEs, CPEs, Unit Managers, and Team Leaders to promote an environment that encourages learning and sustains the personal and professional development of all non-medical staff within Neuro ICU.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a first degree in Nursing
  • PG Cert in Adult Critical Nursing or equivalent critical care qualification (ENB 100 Course or Diploma)
  • Significant experience in an area of clinical practice relevant to the speciality (minimum of 4 years, including 1 year as CPE and relevant clinical experience at a band 6 level in critical care)

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting the development of our non-medical staff.
