Role Summary:

The Education and Training Manager position is available at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where we are seeking an experienced individual to lead our nursing education team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading teaching trust and contribute to the development of high-quality education and training programs for non-medical staff.

Main Responsibilities:

The post holder will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of education and training programs for students, new starters, and existing members of non-medical staff. They will work closely with the clinical teams to identify education and training needs and develop tailored solutions to meet these needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with first degree in Nursing
  • PG Cert in Adult Critical Nursing or other equivalent critical care qualification
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging and interactive education and training programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate complex information
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and theories
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based in the Neuro ICU department and will work closely with the clinical teams to deliver high-quality education and training programs.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £46,148 - £52,809 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and generous annual leave entitlement.
