Special Education Needs Teacher

As a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher at Wayman Education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of students with special needs. Our school is committed to providing an inclusive environment that fosters growth and development for all pupils.
About the Role:- You will be responsible for leading the development of a tailored provision for students with SEN needs, ensuring their individual requirements are met.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of specialist ASD/Communication and Interaction interventions across the school.
- Direct the work of teaching assistants and collaborate with the SENCO, Trust Lead SRP Teachers, and Trust Director of SEN to ensure seamless support.
- Provide formal and informal training to enhance staff understanding and strategies for supporting SEN students.
- Design and implement a highly personalized curriculum for each student.
Key Requirements:
- This is a permanent, full-time position starting January 2025.
- MPS or Upper Pay Scale.
- Full-time hours.
