Practice Development Lead

Transformation Unit is seeking a highly skilled Practice Development Lead - Neuro ICU to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our education team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment of practice development, education, and training activities for non-medical staff in our Neuro ICU.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, with a focus on adult critical care. They will lead the Nursing Education Team, reviewing and developing education activities, participating in the annual review and development of the strategic education plan for non-medical staff, and promoting an environment that encourages learning and sustains personal and professional development.
Main Duties:
- Work a minimum of 40% of their time as supernumerary, providing support, education, and opportunities for staff development.
- Lead and manage the Nursing Education Team in the Neuro ICU, reviewing and developing education activities.
- Participate in the annual review and development of the strategic education plan for non-medical staff.
Key Requirements:
We are looking for a registered nurse with a first degree in Nursing, a PG Cert in Adult Critical Nursing or equivalent, and a minimum of 4 years' experience, including 1 year as CPE. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, with a focus on adult critical care, and will be passionate about education as a tool to improve quality of care.
