Maternity Practice Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled midwife to lead our maternity practice development team and education programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality learning opportunities and supportive educational input for learners and staff within maternity services.
This role involves collaborating with the Midwifery Leadership Team to ensure learning and development meet CQC standards, MIS criteria, NMC codes of conduct, and national/local guidance.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver a comprehensive maternity practice development strategy.
- Work closely with the Director of Midwifery to plan and implement education and training programmes.
- Lead the development and delivery of inter-professional learning and professional education programmes.
- Coordinate the development and ongoing training for newly qualified and appointed midwives and maternity support workers.
- Participate in planning and delivering multi-professional education provision in the maternity department.
Estimated salary: £67,000 - £87,000 per annum.
