Lead Midwife for Community Development
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced midwife to lead our community development team in enhancing the quality of clinical learning environments and delivering meaningful learning and development opportunities within maternity services.
This role involves strategically managing our practice development team and education programme, ensuring high-quality learning opportunities and supportive educational input for learners and staff within maternity services.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Midwifery Leadership Team to ensure learning and development meet CQC standards, MIS criteria, NMC codes of conduct, and national/local guidance.
- Work with the Director of Midwifery to plan a schedule of education and training aligned with service development needs.
- Lead the development and delivery of inter-professional learning and professional education programmes aimed at encouraging lifelong learning.
- Coordinate the development and ongoing training for newly qualified and appointed midwives and maternity support workers.
- Participate in planning and delivering multi-professional education provision in the maternity department.
Estimated salary: £63,500 - £83,000 per annum.
