Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain valuable experience in education and support roles, working with students with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

About the Role:

You will work closely with experienced teachers and staff to provide tailored support to students, assist in developing social skills and emotional resilience, and participate in training and professional development opportunities. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build rapport with students and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Assist in developing personalized learning plans
  • Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to monitor student progress and implement effective strategies

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff
  • Prior experience in education or support roles (preferred but not essential)

Estimated Salary: £13.50 per hour. Flexible part-time and full-time roles available. Enhanced DBS checks provided. Ongoing training and development opportunities.
