We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education for students with special educational needs. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing personalised learning plans, fostering an inclusive classroom environment, and ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will develop and deliver tailored lesson plans catering to the diverse needs of students with SEN, leveraging various teaching strategies and resources.

  • Personalised Learning Plans: Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans catering to the diverse needs of students with SEN, leveraging various teaching strategies and resources.
  • Ongoing Assessment: Regularly assess students' strengths and areas for development, adapting teaching methods to meet individual requirements.
  • Collaborative Working: Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external specialists to create and implement access plans for students with SEN, promoting a cohesive approach to support.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and interventions in the field of SEN, applying this knowledge to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and informed approach to supporting students with SEN.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
  2. Specialisation or additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  3. Experience working with students who have a range of SEN, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
  4. Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
  5. A willingness and enthusiasm for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
