Exciting Opportunity for 2nd Line IT Support Technician at Ascend Consulting

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join our team in Bristol. In this role, you'll provide 2nd Line and Desktop Support to a diverse group of onsite and off-site users. You'll work closely with a team of two onsite technicians to respond to incidents and requests via a modern IT Support System.

The Job Requirements:

This role requires minimum 1-year experience in a similar role, fantastic user management soft skills, Windows 10, MS Server 2012/2019, MS Office 365, Active Directory & Group Policy administration, IP networking & telephony, DNS, DHCP, and server, network, and desktop hardware knowledge. You'll also need to ensure that the computers you're responsible for are compliant with Cyber Essential Plus and install and configure hardware, software, and mobile devices.

About the Salary:

The salary for this position is £32,000 per annum, offering a competitive package. You'll have the opportunity to gain insight into infrastructure-based technology and work on various projects, developing your skills and expertise.
