Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

Circle Health Group is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our imaging team.
Key Responsibilities:- Work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing patient-centered care and meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues.
- Deliver a high standard of care in accordance with CHG policies and procedures.
- Conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/Imaging Assistants standard framework, understanding the standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Assist patients throughout their time within the department and preparing patients prior to their imaging.
- Assist Radiographers in maintaining an efficient daily work list, workflow of patients.
- Assist Radiologists in carrying out radiological examinations.
- Deal with patient queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems.
- Assist the Admin team with charging.
- Be responsible for stock maintenance and ordering.
- Assist in regular audits.
- Care Certificate.
- NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
- Willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
- Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
