About the Role

We are seeking an Area Sales Engineer for the North of the UK to expand our customer base and maintain strong connections with current clients. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a deep understanding of compressed air and gases.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Northern UK territory.
  2. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer needs.
  3. Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  4. Provide exceptional customer support and address inquiries or concerns promptly.
  5. Collaborate with other areas of the business to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Possess a good understanding of compressed air and gases and their applications.
  7. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory.
  8. Schedule customer visits effectively.
  9. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM.
  10. Craft tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of customers after comprehensive training.

To succeed in this role, you must be committed, independent, and proactive with a motivation for sales and drive for achieving targets. You should be organised, able to plan your own time, and communicate well both written and verbal at all levels.
