">About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work closely with teachers, the SENCo, and external specialists to provide one-to-one and group support to students with diverse needs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and effective behaviour management techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Support: Provide direct support to students with autism and behavioural challenges, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, offering insights and feedback to inform ongoing support and interventions.
What We're Looking For

For this role, we require:

  • A strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and effective behaviour management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to supporting students.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive support plan.
Salary and Benefits

We are offering a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
