We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our alternative provision in Northampton. This role offers the chance to work with students who require additional support, empowering them to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to students with SEMH difficulties. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative Maths lessons that cater to individual learners' needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to engage students who face challenges in mainstream education.
  • Monitor student progress, ensuring personalized learning approaches.
  • Collaborate with support staff, SEN specialists, and parents/carers to create a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to IEP development for students with specific needs.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour using de-escalation strategies.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive setting. The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE level).
  • A proven track record of working with children with SEN, particularly those with SEMH needs.
