Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic SEN educator to join our core team. This role offers an innovative approach to education, ample opportunities for professional growth and development, and a supportive environment that encourages students to think beyond the traditional.
Job Description
This position involves working with approximately 35 pupils on roll, providing individualized support and ensuring each student receives a nurturing, encouraging, and supportive environment. Our school consists of a core team of the Head of Provision, three teachers, and two support staff, with further assistance from regional and national staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized educational plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and promoting social-emotional growth
Requirements
- CORE Teaching Qualifications: Teaching Qualification in (QTS/QTLS) or be willing to work towards it.Specialist Teaching Qualification (Desirable)
- Academic Background: Degree in a Relevant Teaching Subject,equivalent for SEN (desirable)
- Special Education and SEN Expertise: Teaching Subjects: English, Maths, and Science Proficiency, a minimum of grade 4/C or higher
