Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Wellbeing Tutor to join our Partnership School's expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our pupils, aged 11-16, and contribute to their academic, social, behavioural, and emotional growth. As a Wellbeing Tutor, you will work closely with the SLT to develop strategies that support vulnerable young people and help them achieve their full potential.

You will be responsible for providing support and supervision, planning and teaching engaging lessons, and working collaboratively with other staff members to meet the diverse needs of our pupils. This role requires a strong understanding of SEN, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.

An estimated salary for this position is £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support pupils aged 11 – 16 with their emotional wellbeing, raising their aspirations to learn, and promoting positive relationships.
  2. Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver high-quality lessons, tailored to meet individual pupil needs.
  3. Contribute to the development of behaviour support plans, ensuring effective management of challenging behaviour.
  4. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers, communicating effectively and providing regular updates.
  5. Maintain accurate records, including observations, risk assessments, and learning plans.
