About the Role

We are recruiting for a Support Specialist to join our Supported Internship programme team in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to learners with SEN, helping them to achieve their goals and develop the skills they need for sustained paid employment.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver support in various ways, including 1-1 job coaching and working with learners to develop employability skills. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on learner progress.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience of supporting people, delivering against targets, and knowledge of safe working practices. A-C/9-4 English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent) is also essential, as well as good ICT skills and effective communication.

As a valued member of the team, you will have access to a range of benefits, including 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), service-related sick pay, and eligibility to join the Mencap Pension Plan.

The salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
