Lead Frontend Developer for Immersive Labs

Our team is passionate about creating an inclusive environment, and we're dedicated to customer satisfaction. We're seeking a motivated and curious Front-end developer to join our Product Design team.

This is an exciting opportunity to own the end-to-end implementation of design in our platform UI, covering operation, contribution, extension, and performant delivery for the end-user. You will be responsible for driving the centralization, extension, and polishing of our front-end tech, eliminating debt, and modernizing it to match our standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Centralizing, extending, and polishing our front-end tech
  • Crafting a strong product that enables high-quality experiences for users
  • Developing a component library that enables developers to work efficiently, owning the implementation of new components and patterns from concept to production
  • Providing mentorship to engineers to help them apply systemic product UI composition effectively

Our current tech stack includes Typescript, React, CSS tooling, Ruby on Rails, Node, Python, AWS, Github, and Slack. We're looking for someone with experience in Javascript frameworks, preferably React, and knowledge of best practices and patterns when working in a large, scalable frontend codebase. Excellent communication skills and a passion for solving challenging problems in a long-term product-building environment are essential.
