Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Institutional Sales Manager to join our team at Oaktree Capital Management. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of the private credit and equities landscape, as well as excellent sales and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to target institutional clients in the UK and internationally, with a focus on private credit and equities;
  • Work closely with product specialists and investment personnel to execute sales strategies and pitch Oaktree's suite of funds;
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities through targeted account development and networking;
  • Manage sales pipelines and CRM systems to track progress and optimize sales efforts.
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years of experience in institutional sales or business development, preferably in a top-tier asset management firm or private bank;
  • Proven track record of successfully raising capital and meeting sales targets;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including investments, legal, operations, and client services;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and marketing databases, with proficiency in CRM systems.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.
