Harper Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Leader to join our client, a dynamic Fintech business based in Nottinghamshire.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR professional to drive cultural transformation and strategic growth within a forward-thinking organization. As Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR best practices, providing expert guidance to the leadership team, and leading the end-to-end employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Act as the expert to the leadership team, providing insightful advice on HR-related matters and coaching key stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and implementation of bespoke HR functions, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and designing candidate attraction materials.
  • Design and implement innovative benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and deliver effective training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Establish a robust payroll process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement a HRIS and ATS system to streamline HR operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as Head of HR, Head of People, or HR Director in a similar industry.
  • CIPD Qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong command of HR functions, best practices, and policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
