Drive Growth in the Lift and Escalator Industry

We are seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join our team at OKB KONE plc, one of the world's leading lift and escalator companies. Based in Glasgow, this role will focus on managing customers across Scotland's west side, with an existing pipeline in place.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical technology and its interface with buildings, as well as digital savvyness and excellent communication skills. Proven experience in opening new business customer accounts, systematic solution selling approach, and customer-centric mindset are essential for success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Owning the full sales cycle, from lead creation to tender and order processes, lift design, and handovers to installation and maintenance teams.
  • Developing and maintaining existing and new customer relationships, ensuring upselling opportunities for KONE's digital IoT service solutions.
  • Accountability for meeting sales budget and pricing targets in the designated market area.
  • Maintaining close collaboration with Operations and other teams to enhance customer satisfaction and project delivery.
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting of sales and customer data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Lift industry experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills to access and collaborate with external and internal networks.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) and basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
  • Good IT skills, including CRM software (Salesforce).
