Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a pioneering recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Social Worker within the Mental Health Forensic Social Work Team to work Part Time (22 hours). The salary for this permanent Senior Social Worker job is up to £45,987 per annum.
">Job Description
- Provide professional leadership in complex situations involving risk assessment and support planning.
- Prepare written and verbal reports based on analysis of complex evidence.
- Develop support plans with service users to meet identified outcomes within budgetary constraints.
- Balance risk and protective factors within a safeguarding framework.
- Apply specialist social work practice skills and knowledge of Adult Services user groups.
- Mentor and supervise direct reports to develop their professional skills.
- Lead the development of quality assurance systems to achieve performance indicators and quality standards.
- Promote service user empowerment and recognize diversity and anti-discriminatory practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
