About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Mental Health Service Manager - OT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to adults with mental health conditions.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about occupational therapy and has experience in managing teams and implementing new projects. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, and post-qualifying experience in mental health occupational therapy. They will also have knowledge of common mental health conditions and experience in delivering supervision to other disciplines.

The salary for this position is approximately £44,999 per annum, depending on experience. The location is Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of occupational therapists in delivering high-quality care to adults with mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement new projects and services that promote recovery, resilience, and self-management.
  • Collaborate with nurse leaders and other multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver effective care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Essential Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Post-qualifying experience in mental health occupational therapy.
  • Knowledge of common mental health conditions.
  • Experience in delivering supervision to other disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
