About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Community Mental Health Consultant to join our team. This exciting opportunity will involve providing clinical leadership, supporting the development of community mental health services, and working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in assessing and treating mental health patients in outpatient and community settings. They will also have a strong background in multi-disciplinary working, training doctors in training, and taking on a leadership role in several multi-disciplinary teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and support the development of community mental health services
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent patient outcomes and contribute to the improvement of community mental health services
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote high-quality care and improve staff morale
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and licence to practice
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Approved Clinician Status or eligible to attend training
Desirable Qualifications
  • Relevant Higher Degree e.g. MD, PhD, MSc or other additional clinical qualifications
  • Completion of Clinical and Educational Supervisor Training
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £93,144 - £108,716 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
